In 2019, Dr. Ammar Younas pioneered the creation of Central Asia Tech Law (CAT Law), establishing it as a new academic discipline focused on the intersection of technology and law in the Central Asian context. In 2024, as part of his continued efforts to guide responsible AI development in the region, Dr. Ammar Younas, in collaboration with Prof. Yi Zeng, proposed the Central Asian AI Ethics Principles.
