Dr. Ammar Younas is the founder of Central Asia Tech Law (CAT Law), a pioneering discipline addressing the impact of emerging technologies like AI, Big Data, and digitization on legal frameworks in Central Asia. His work bridges global standards and local values, enabling countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to develop robust technology laws and ethical AI policies.
In 2019, he introduced the concept of CAT Law and proposed the Central Asian AI Ethics Principles, fostering legal mechanisms that align international regulations with the unique needs of the region.
